The Tu-154 eventually gathered a rather poor reputation in Iran with nicknames such as ‘Death Bird’ due to various crashes, however the type was instrumental in getting many Iranian airlines into the air and saw wide service prior to it being banned in February 2010. As a collector of both curiosities and Iranian airliners the new NG mould would look great wearing these colours.
To date the only Iranian Tu-154 made was an Eram Air version wearing hybrid Omskavia colours.

Well over 20 Tu-154s saw service in Iran during the 90s and 2000s. Many were leased for short periods from Russian airlines, like Kolavia and Omskavia, and never gained much more than Iranian titles over their Russian liveries, however quite a few also got proper repaints and wore some lovely colours.
